Awesome veggies in Camel CSA’s Christmas boxes
Posted on December 22nd, 2020 No commentsOur brilliant support team always pitch up on veg box Fridays – even when it’s stormy! Growers Mark, Bridget and Jane filled 70 bumper Christmas boxes assisted by volunteer picking and packing team Alex, Charlotte, Claire, Dan, David, Jane, Kate and Nat.
Bike couriers Damian and Mike of Pedal My Cargo delivered in Wadebridge while lead grower Mark braved the flooded lanes in his electric van.
What’s in all the bumper Christmas boxes: –
*leeks
*carrots
*giant parsnip
*squash ‘Crown Prince’
*chillies
*garlic
*sprouted mung beans
*bay leaves
*jar of green tomato chutney
Cornish honey (James family, Bodmin)
Brussels sprouts stalk (Restharrow Farm, Trebetherick)
potatoes ‘Wilja’ (Colwith Farm, Lanlivery)Standard boxes also have:-
