Squash in the veg boxes give us brightness in the gloom

The bright colours of Autumn Crown and Uchiki Kuri squash help cheer us up on these dark and soggy December days. We keep healthy in winter by consuming plenty of kale – a nutrient-rich “superfood”.
In all the veg boxes:-
*carrots
*kale – Red Russian or Cottagers
*leeks
*elephant garlic
*can of carlin peas (Hodmedod’s)
beetroot (Restharrow Farm, Trebetherick)
potatoes ‘Wilja’ (Colwith Farm, Lanlivery)
Standard boxes also have:-
*squash – Autumn Crown or Uchiki Kuri
*Jerusalem artichokes
Brussels sprouts (Trerair Farm, St Eval)
* = grown to organic principles
Please wash all produce thoroughly
