June 26, 2022

There are bees everywhere. We like to grow lots of pollinator-friendly annual flowers close to our vegetables as they encourage the right kind of insects. This year’s selection includes viper’s bugloss, English marigolds, feverfew, borage, cornflowers and foxgloves.

In all this week’s veg shares:-
*broad beans or *peas in pod (Camel CSA / Mark Norman, Bodmin)
*new season beetroot
*rhubarb (Camel CSA / Mark Norman)
*green onion(s)
*second early potatoes – ‘Kestrel’
asparagus (Tregassow Farm, St Erme)

Standard veg shares also have:-
*radishes – ‘French breakfast’
*summer turnips or *kohlrabi
*wet green garlic or *cucumber

*  = grown to organic principles

Please wash all produce thoroughly.
Produce grown by Camel CSA, unless indicated otherwise
