We welcome people who want to volunteer and get involved. You don’t have to be a member of Camel CSA to join in our vegetable growing activities on our site at Treraven Farm, Wadebridge.

We’re a friendly team and you’ll be made to feel very welcome. You needn’t come every week.

Please let us know the first time you intend to come and help. Contact Charlotte Barry who will arrange a taster session for you.

      Monday 09.30-16.30  (March-October)
    •  Thursday 09.30-16.30 (all year)
    •  Friday 09.00-13.00 (all year)

If you’d like to take part in picking and packing the veg:
    •  Friday morning 09.00-11.30 (all year)

    Vulnerable adults
We also offer support and informal training for vulnerable adults and young people who want to share in the growing experience. Some come to us via local charities and support agencies. Others arrange to take part on an independent basis.

growers-volunteers-camelcsa-0619We provide the tools and equipment and there’s always an expert grower on site to provide advice and guidance. No previous experience is necessary.

    Other ways to volunteer
There are all kinds of volunteering activities available. Not all of them are sowing, planting, weeding and spreading compost!

If you’re a Camel CSA member you can also stand for election to the core management group at our AGM. You automatically become a member when you subscribe to our vegetable box scheme.
