Glowing colours amid shades of red dominate the veg shares this week – radishes, rainbow chard, beetroot, strawberries. We have the very first of the cucumbers too.

In all this week’s veg boxes:-
*radishes – ‘French breakfast’
*broad beans or *peas in pod or *calabrese
*bag of salad leaves
*summer turnips or *kohlrabi
*new potatoes – ‘Casablanca’ or ‘Kestrel’
asparagus (Tregassow Farm, St Erme)

Standard veg boxes also have:-
*rhubarb chard or *cucumber
*beetroot
strawberries (Mitchell Fruit Garden)

*  = grown to organic principles

Please wash all produce thoroughly.
