We’re now looking forward to Halloween and getting ready for winter. The growing team have sorted all the remainder of the squashes and pumpkins and laid them out to ‘cure’ on pallets.

The ones that are already cured have gone into our insulated cool store, where there’ll soon be hundreds ready to go in the veg boxes over the coming weeks.

In all this week’s veg shares:
*’Sweet Dumpling’ squash
*big bunch of basil
*tomatoes or *French beans
*aubergine
*pepper
*onions
calabrese (Trerair Farm, St Eval)
potatoes ‘Picasso’ or ‘Wilja’ (Trerair Farm)

Standard boxes also have:
*carrots or beetroot
*mixed salad leaves
*cucumber

* = grown to organic principles.  Please wash all veg thoroughly
