Patty pan squash in Camel CSA’s veg boxes
Posted on August 4th, 2019 No commentsThese delightful flying saucer-shaped ‘White Custard’ patty pan squash are a free bonus item in the veg boxes again this week. Our lead grower Mark Norman cultivates them on his No Dig plot outside Bodmin.
In all the veg boxes this week:-
*aubergine and tomatoes
*basil
*cucumber
*mixed salad leaves
*spring onions
*calabrese or purple sprouting broccoli (Camel CSA / Mark Norman)
potatoes ‘Wilja’ (Colwith Farm, Lanlivery)Standard boxes also have:-
*French beans or runner beans
*green peppers
*courgettes (Mark Norman, Bodmin)All produce grown by Camel CSA, unless otherwise stated
